My studies include Fine Art (painting) at Farnham, MA Fine Arts at the Arts University Bournemouth and a PGCE (Art secondary) at the University of Exeter.

I lived and worked in Norway and France for 25 years before returning to Dorset in 2000 where I have continued to work as a freelance artist and teacher.

My main interest has always been still life which, during the last 10 years I have developed using painted and printed fabric although I have recently started working with local landscapes that have a special connection to me, often symbolising this with printed imagery incorporated into a more abstract base.

I am a member of Dorset Visual Arts salon collective, Wesca (Wessex Contemporary Arts) and BAS.
